Light tint actually makes a big difference, it is hard to explain but it makes the car look better without screaming look at me my windows are black.

Agree that driving around with 20% tint screams look at me (and I have a gun and crack in my car). Personally I'm a fan of the 35%, right down the middle.

And yes I said Hippie.

Brian's new car thread hit 3 pages quicker than my build thread and all he did was add tint and an ugly black box.

 on all accounts!

Re: percentage of tint - I could have done 35% on the back 3 windows, but I wanted it to be the same on the whole car. So in order not to get hassled by the 5-0, I kept it legal and subtle. Plus I don't carry my piece or my pipe in the avant. :P

Re: Hippytown - Blacksburg is much more granola than it is camo.

I'll be making an appointment to get the timing belt/water pump done soon. woot for 75k maintenance.

Took the avant into the shop this morning and they called before noon. Dude said that my A/C Compressor "exploded" which he said he "had never seen that happen before." :carson:
